Obama Wishes Happy Diwali

Senator Barack Obama, the democratic presidential candidate wished U.S. hindus a Happy Diwali. In his note to the South Asian Journalists Association, he writes that in this time of lights, he seeks to bring positive change if he’s the president.

Plane Crash in Nepal. Eighteen Dead.

A plane crashed in Nepal yesterday. Eighteen people, mostly tourists, died. Yeti Airlines twin otter went down in Lukla airport, the nearest to the Everest base camp, one of the most visited destinations in the country. Here are photographs of the scene.
